Punjab Forest Department Jobs Announcement 2026

This project is related to improving the protection system in forests through modern technology and establishing a digital communication cell. What vacancies are available?
People will be selected for two different positions in this recruitment.
The first post is that of Control Room Operator for which a total of three posts have been earmarked. The second post is that of Finance Officer for which only one post has been earmarked. Both these posts will be on contract basis and will be maintained for the duration of the project only.
What educational qualifications and experience are required?
For the post of Control Room Operator, the candidate must have at least a Higher Secondary School Certificate i.e. Intermediate pass. Along with this, there should also be a six-month diploma in computer usage and basic applications. The age limit for this post has been set between twenty and twenty-eight years. The starting salary has been fixed at fifty-two thousand five hundred rupees per month.
For the post of gardener, the candidate must have at least a primary school certificate. Also, there should be at least two years of experience in the nursery or horticulture sector. The age limit for this post is between eighteen and twenty-five years. The starting salary is thirty-five thousand rupees per month.
Deployment for both posts can be anywhere across Punjab.
Age relaxation
A relaxation of five years has been given for males. A relaxation of eight years has been given for females. This relaxation is in accordance with the relevant notification of the Punjab Government.
How to apply
Interested candidates should visit the official website jobs.punjab.gov.pk and submit their online application. Just applying online is not enough. Along with this, a hard copy of the application form should also be sent. A copy of the identity card should also be sent. A copy of the domicile should also be sent. Attested photocopies of educational and experience certificates are also required. All these documents should be sent to the office of the Director Geospatial Planning and Monitoring Forest GIS Lab Lahore. These documents should be submitted during the office hours.
While sending the application, take special care that the name of the post for which you are applying is clearly written. Write it on the application as well as on the envelope. If a candidate wants to apply for more than one post, he/she will have to submit a separate application for each post.
Deadline and other important instructions
The last date for submission of applications is 20th July 2026. Applications received after this date will not be accepted. Incomplete applications will also be rejected. No separate notification will be given in this regard.
Candidates called for interview must bring their original documents. Copies of educational certificates must also be brought. Experience certificates must also be brought. Domicile and identity card must also be brought. Two recent passport size photographs must also be brought. Complete CV must also be brought. No travel allowance will be given for the test or interview.
Only candidates from Punjab province will be eligible for these posts. Candidates who are already employed in a government organization will have to obtain NOC from their respective department. Or they will have to obtain DPC. It will be mandatory to present this paper at the time of interview.
The department reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies. The department may also cancel the recruitment process at any time without prior notice. The selected candidates will not be entitled to permanent appointment as these vacancies are on contract basis.
