Day to day, this role covers project planning, inspecting budgets and resources, and looking after civil, painting, and plumbing maintenance at SSGC’s offices and buildings.
Engineer Gas Control / LHF (Job Code 8575-02) wants Mechanical, Petroleum, or Gas/Chemical engineers, again with a minimum of 2 years experience. The job here is assisting the Unit Head in making sure gas gets dispatched in a controlled manner, matching what consumers distribution networks actually need, and keeping the LHF (Liquid Hydrocarbon Facility, in case that’s new to you) running as it should.
Engineer – Instrument & Controls (Job Code 8576-02) rounds off this department. Electrical or Electronics/Mechatronics engineering graduates with 2+ years of experience are being asked for here, to manage and maintain sophisticated equipment everything from compressors to a wide range of machinery involved in power generation.
Services department
Deputy Chief Engineer SCADA (Job Code 8577-02) is the single opening under Services. SSGC wants an Electronics, Electrical, or Mechatronics graduate with at least 6 years of relevant experience for this one. The role is centered on managing and operating the SCADA systems within the Services Department basically providing technical support and making sure maintenance activities line up with SSGC’s broader strategic goals and keep the SCADA infrastructure running efficiently.
Corrosion Control department
Deputy Chief Engineer – Corrosion Control (Job Code 8578-02) is the lone vacancy here, and it’s asking for Metallurgy, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering graduates with 6+ years of experience. On top of that, candidates need NACE, API, or TWI certification no way around that one.
